Why this must be read:

I’m rather fond of Jack/Elizabeth as a pairing, and this fic is a wonderful example of what can be done with them. “The Seduction” is a ‘what if’ take on the movie, and it is gorgeous, lyrical and aching:

When she comes to his bed, he draws her down with deft fingers.

“Are you going to hurt me?” she whispers.

She feels his mouth curve — exotic, ecstatic — against her aching flesh. “Only a little,” he whispers back.

I love this fic, the language, the imagery, and most of all, Elizabeth and Jack as Circe paints them here.

Actually, it's one of my favourite fanfics that I've written. It really really ate my brain until I finished it. Jack was talking to me in the bloody supermarket deli line, for heaven's sake! :)
