I should say my rec choices reflect my tastes. My favourite pairing is Nite Owl II/Rorschach (or Dan/Walter); it is a very popular pairing in the fandom, however, it isn't by far the only popular pairing! Watchmen fic writers have drawn from the full cast of Minutemen and Watchmen characters to pick from and rare pairs are welcome too. The other reccers to come are likely to rec the other pairings, but, if you can't wait, pm me! I also tend to savor the relationship and character-driven aspects of both slash and gen alike--but the porn should be represented, I do have porn favorites, and this is one of them:

Why this must be read:
Lulz AND hotness! The Twilight Lady is roleplaying as Rorschach with a very willing and bound Dan--midway through, she's replaced by Rorschach:

 

"Daniel,” she says, and she’s getting good at mimicking his voice. “D - hrrk - Daniel!” The scandalized, horrified sound of her voice is perfect, really, but kind of annoying.
 

“Just come here and fuck me, Rorschach,” he breathes, lifting his hips a little and craning his neck back. “I can’t take it anymore.”

 

I chose this to balance my smut ratio :), but please have a look at the other fics findmyantidrug has written because, not only can she do things with the characters that you wouldn't think possible yet remain IC, but her fics can usually be appreciated on a number of different levels.
