Ah, friendship! As the song goes:

It's friendship, friendship,

Certainly that is true for the friendship between Napoleon and Illya, but you know it all had to start somewhere. So for the rest of this week, a couple of stories on how it all began...

Why this must be read:

This story takes a very original approach to the "start of something great" between the two agents. Napoleon finds the newly-transferred-to-NY Illya rummaging through top-secret papers supposedly safely locked in his desk at HQ. Whatever is Solo to do except follow standard procedure and interrogate the miscreant?

The writer manages to bring forward some of the finer details regarding the characters of both men in this short but wonderfully innovative piece.
