adriannacoylho has given us many Gibbs/Ducky stories of all types; romantic, angsty, fluffy.
This one is AU and darn right creative and fun. I could imagine both Gibbs and Ducky in period clothes poking about the crime scenes; Ducky waxing even more long-windedly in the manner of speech of the era; Gibbs listening fondly.
The best mental picture is of the two on the deck of a wooden sailing ship heading off to their future together.
