By far the best fic I've read involving Lisa. It doesn't dismiss her, but it keeps Cas there, too, and both on an emotional level as well as sexually. I loved Lisa and Cas' conversation because, God, how absolutely true of Dean. The pacing and vivid descriptions make this a beautiful, though short, piece about (most of) the people Dean loves. Gorgeous, really.
"How is he?" Cas asks, voice husky-soft, concerned. More human than angel.
"There are the good days and the bad days," she says. "Your visits help."
"I wish I could come more often, but heaven's in chaos..."
"He understands," Lisa interrupts, placing a hand on Cas's forearm. "We both do."
A long pause followed by the rhythmic sound of their quiet breathing. "I'm glad he has you to help him through this," Cas says after a time, voice quiet and rough, so low Dean has to strain to hear him.
"And I'm glad he still has you, Castiel," Lisa says. "I think maybe Dean has to learn that it's okay to let himself be loved by the people who love him."
