Why this must be read:
This is a spectacular story that really showcases Doctor John Watson, complete and utter badass. After the end of The Great Game, John decides to protect Sherlock the best he can by going all James Bond on Moriarty's ass. This story is so wonderful because it really has the feel of the show, shout-outs to the original canon and all. The style of writing is excellent and engaging and oh so awesome. You really feel for John and you really understand why he's doing all of this. I highly recommend this story.
