Why this must be read:
Due to the central use of text messages/e-mails/blogging in Sherlock, the epistolary form of short story is pretty common in the fandom. I, personally, LOVE AND ADORE epistolary stories, especially those that have two authors with two distinct voices writing the two characters exchanging the letters. This is perhaps the best example of this form of writing in the Sherlock fandom, and a favorite of mine. Enjoy!
