Why this must be read: Ok, I swear this is my last rec by artaxastra, but her stuff is just so good (and you should read all of her Sanctuary fics)! I couldn't leave this fic out. Like I said before, artaxastra keeps on coming up with these incredibly deep and insightful fics that shed so much light on the characters. This fic is an analysis of John and the Ripper by Will, and it's absolutely brilliant and makes complete sense. Of course Watson couldn't solve the case. I always thought that was because the idea of John being the killer was so ludicrous that he never considered it, but this explains it much more fully.
