Why this must be read: I'm mainly reccing this fic because Helen calls Nikola "Nikky" and it does NOT make me want to puke. I'd say it's a miracle, but it's more like Rowan is just that good of a writer. A wonderful post ep for Sleepers where Helen and Nikola are actually able to open up to each other. Raw yet incredibly sweet and touching.
She only drank two glasses of wine. Two glasses is her limit. One glass makes her warmer. Two relaxes the cramps in the backs of her calves. Three she grows talkative. Four, and the walls fall away. Helen Magnus can't afford more than two glasses of wine.
