Why this must be read:
Some truly, incredibly fantastic horror stories came out in this fandom around Halloween. I had a lot of trouble choosing which story by this author that I wanted to recommend (truly, it would have been the Doctor Who crossover if the community rules had allowed more than one crossover rec and I almost recommended the pleasure-by-remote story, too), but I really wanted to showcase some of the excellent horror fiction that the fandom has so I chose this one. (Note that several of the authors I have previously recommended this month have also written some spectacular horror fanfic for Sherlock, too, if you are interested in that sort of thing.)

Transcripts of Lestrade interviewing Sherlock in a high-security psychiatric institute for the violently insane. WARNINGS: Psychological suspense, supernatural elements, murder, main character death, horrific images. This is not a story to read at night right before bed, mmkay?
