Why this must be read: A visit to the Reform Club leads to the ending of a chapter in the history of The Five. Before Nigel finally appeared on screen in For King and Country, we knew very little about his character. For that reason, various depictions of Nigel appear in fanfic. This story features one of them, and although it doesn't match the Nigel they showed us, it's an interesting piece anyway. If Nigel isn't your cup of tea, I'd read this fic anyway for the excellent conversation between John and James about the Ripper. The writer misspells Magnus and Griffin's names along with several other words, which would usually be unforgivable, but in this case, the fic is a good enough read that I can overlook it.
