Why this must be read: When I rec on this com, I always have a window open with the list of previously recced fic to refer to so that I don't repeat someone.
Huh. So I picked a sentimental favorite of mine by Dee. Everything she writes is amazing. She is one of the very short of list of authors I rec universally when one of my friends falls into the lotrips pit. Her Viggo is introspective, idiosyncratic, and flawed. This is a real person, not just a cipher to spin a plot off of. Her Orlando is capricious, young, and multitonal.
The reason I pick this one particularly is that I think it's the first fic I read starring Miranda, and because of that, her Miranda is the one firmly lodged in my mind.
