Why this must be read:

Read this one for a lot of clever and hilariously fitting Lewis Carroll analogs to the Watchmen characters. It's funny for how supremely unimpressed Rorschach is while confronting them, and for how the darker elements of Watchmen have been incarnated in what's supposedly a child's dreamworld.

Well, the wall had to end somewhere. He turned right and started walking along it. After a while he saw someone sitting on it. On closer inspection it proved to be a giant egg, in leather trousers with a smiley face pinned to the belt, smoking a cigar.

‘Wrong book,’ said Rorschach. ‘Humpty Dumpty was in Through the Looking Glass.’

‘Hey, it’s your dream, kiddo,’ said Humpty. He puffed on his cigar. ‘Don’t be so anal.'

‘Going to fall,’ said Rorschach.

‘Didn’t know you cared.’

Rorschach shrugged. ‘Stupid place to sit.’

‘I like it up here. And if I fall, King Nixon’s men will just put me back together again.’
