There's Only One Sure Thing That I Know by leah k (R)

Why this must be read: I've already mentioned my undying love for the "accidentally married" genre in this rec set, so it will probably come as no surprise to you that the "accidentally buy a house together" genre also presses my buttons like gangbusters. A perfect example is this witty fic by Leah K, in which Dean and Castiel find themselves clueless and trapped by a curse in middle America... and it maybe ends up being less a curse than a learning experience. As an added bonus, there's Dean and Cas being mistaken as gay couple by their workmates (always a winner), and awesome Lisa (I love awesome Lisa). How can you possibly ask for more from a fic?

Master post: There's Only One Sure Thing That I Know, or Part 1

ETA: Something weird is going on with this post -- the link won't show, so I'm pasting it here as a plain url: blinkiesays.livejournal.com/144440.html

FYI - at least for me the direct link is not showing up for the fic until I actually go to comment/go to the entry for this post.

Headdesk!funny thing is?

That link's doing the same danged thing too.

Don't know what's going on - someone's throwing some angel mojo on the rec page? ;)

Yeah - and I just skimmed the source code on it and I don't see anything wrong in comparison to the rec linked right above this one (like an open HTML command in the overall page, not just your specific a href code). Not exactly Ms Tech but it looks to be correct.

Can chalk this up to some weird lj goofiness?
