Astounding in its grasp of characters and blessed with a humdinger of a plot, this story has more than anyone could possibly expect from a crossover of two such well-established universes: Mary Morstan, Qui-Gon Jinn, Lestrade, Jedi adapting to living in the Holmesian era, and a host of plot twists that kept me reading. Without giving too much away, this story uses its setting and characters so well that it even merits a re-reading. If you start and finish this fic in one sitting, your evening will be well-spent.
