Mostly Harmless, My Eema by feldman
Fandom: Farscape/Hitchhiker's Guide. Among others.
Pairing: none
Author on LJ:
rubberneck
Author's website: her personal site looks like it hasn't been updated in awhile, but you can find all her stuff on Leviathan.
Why this must be read: It's frelling hilarious, that's why.
So it turns out that most of the Farscape crossovers out there are either too outdated to be relevant, permanently unfinished works in progress, metatextual satire, or stylistic "crossovers" rather than fandom crossovers (ie, the characters of Farscape play the characters in some other well-known story.) The last two of which are good and well (and often very good) but not quite what I was looking for.
"Mostly Harmless" takes the infinite improbability generator from Hitchhiker's Guide and sets it loose in the Farscape universe. Wackiness, predictably enough, ensues. Like the author, it's short, it's sweet, it's twisted and disturbing! There is no bad here!
