Author’s summary: Starfleet's not all guts and glory. Sometimes there's time to kill.
This fic makes me so unbelievably happy. Maybe it’s just because ping-pong was the game of choice at my high school and I’m the one person in the entire world who actually loved her high school, but this short fic about the Enterprise crew passing some well-deserved downtime by taking up ping-pong makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Watching Jim et al play ping-pong and trade good-natured smack-talk makes it seem like everything is right with the world.
