It all began with the following prompt:
"Okay, so, D/R in a just barely established relationship, sexual but pretty vanilla, which has Dan frustrated. Cue the kink conversation, and the subsequent kink freakout, but here's the twist:
Rorschach's the one with some insane kink that Dan can't cope with. Yes, you read it right: Dan gets outkinked..."
Considering fanon has Dan pegged (ehem...) as the world's biggest kinkster while his partner in canon is the embodiment of repression, just the concept is funny. But the author manages to pick up this crack-tastic gauntlet (including the insane "example" kink given by the original poster) and actually makes it downright hot.
