lucifuge_5 and I'll be driving the sled Van for due South this month. My choices for this month are a combination of F/K, femslash and gen fics. Hopefully, y'all will enjoy the recs. :)

Why this must be read:
Because this here is quality crackfic, folks. Any fic in which Gerard Way (lead singer of My Chemical Romance) happens to be Fraser's son is worth your time. Now married to RayK, Fraser tries to connect with the son he never knew existed. Gerard is at once hurt and diva-esque. RayK is protective. The rest of My Chem is trying to make sense of it all with hilarious results (and a possible extra-poker face from Mikeyway. ♥)
One of the best things about this is howshoemaster sets up some of the crazier aspects of dS (performance arsonists! ghost fathers!) against the construct of a regular world (meaning that of My Chem's).
The voices are pitch-perfect. The writing is sharp and hilarious. It's a very clever and (sadly) short journey that will leave you smiling long after you've finished it.
Gerard’s mom was at Niagara Falls, about to get married to her high school sweetheart, but wanting to do something a little wild! She happens to meet this Canadian boy who wants to do something his father would never approve of, and starts talking to this American woman, and well, things go from there. She gets knocked up! But she was married so soon after that everyone just assumed that it was her husbands, and they got a bit frisky before it was official/he was a bit early, but she KNOWS it was that Benton Fraser’s.
