This is one of the gems that came out of hazyflights’ Awesome Ladies Ficathon last summer. kitausu’s Christine Chapel makes McCoy look like a teddy bear: she is a no-nonsense woman who has no qualms about yelling at a superior officer when it will help her do her job more effectively. It’s hard to read this fic and then imagine Reboot!Chapel any other way.
