I admit to being prejudiced about this fic because it was written for a prompt I gave, but the author gave the prompt (McCoy/Kirk transporter fear) such an awesome twist and wrote beautiful hot sex, that I rec it whenever I get the chance. Jim's thought processes about Bones, love and life in general are wonderful and I love how crazy he is about Bones here. There's a couple of angsty moments interspersed with the humour and a lovely look at a lonely Admiral Archer and I just melt at the big and little spoons...
