Why this must be read: This fic is very special in many ways. It's wonderfully timey-wimey, heartbreaking, comforting, and partly written from the point of view of a house. All three Doctors are spot-on, and clearly different from each other (as they should be). Jack's life in the house, how it changes him and how he in turn changes the Doctor, is told in beautiful prose and with pitch-perfect pacing. I love many fics bysahiya, but this is my absolute favorite.
