Why this must be read: You should read this because it's simply delightful from beginning to end. As Illya is preparing to go home, he discovers a note from his partner in his pocket. It's an enigmatic clue that is only the start of a journey across the city as well as down memory lane as Illya's curiosity leads him towards a prize he wasn't aware he was seeking. Gilda is one of my favorite writers (in lots of fandoms); I've yet to come across a story of hers that I haven't enjoyed and this is one of my favorites.

Yeah, it's cool when your favorite authors write in a bunch of your favorite fandoms. Because of Gilda and writers like her, I've read stuff in fandoms that I might not have otherwise simply because I like their stories so much!
