Why this must be read/listened to:Since I'm a huge podfic fan and this week is Pod-aware week, I'm putting in a couple of podfic recs. First is this epic, emotional, beautiful story of, as the author likes to call it "oblivious high school failboats in love". Penny does a fantastic job of bringing sunset-mogs words to life and really makes your heart ache for poor lonely Brendon. Whatever you do, don't listen in public because you're likely to develop teary eyes at many points.
Also SPENCER!LOVE!
The thing is, Brendon is the kid no one talks to in school.
Aside from maybe passing him a pencil or lending him a piece of paper if he asks, Brendon's been in high school for almost two years and most people barely even know he exists.
He never wanted to end up being one of those loner kids who stares at the ground and sits by himself at lunch, the kid who never gets picked in gym class. He's tried everything he can think of to make friends, but nothing seems to have worked.
So here, have 4.5 hours of awesome!
