Untitled, by anonymous (PG)
Fandom: WATCHMEN
Pairing: Nite Owl/Rorschach, hints of Ozymandias/Comedian and Jon/Laurie
Length: ~800 words
Author on LJ: anonymous contributor to the kinkmeme
Author Website: n/a
Why this must be read:
Nite Owl and Rorschach are in a relationship when Nite Owl accidentally calls Rorschach "babe" in front of a group of people, including civilians. It's a short fic but the author managed to squeeze in lot of elements. The main Nite Owl/Rorschach plot is very sweet, and says a lot about their relationship in a little space. Seeing the Crimebusters getting along, teasing each other and cracking jokes is a lot of fun - and even some regular bystanders, a cop and a gangster, get in on the fun!

“I don’t know,” Adrian joined in, looking at her thoughtfully. “I’ve always enjoyed the simplicity of an endearment. Sugar, for instance.”
“Sweet like a cupcake,” Comedian added. “Sugar-cakes?”
“Sugar-britches, sugar-bun, sugar-lips, sugar-smacks,” Adrian rattled off.
Rorschach quivered faintly in a silent rage. “Told you never to call me that, Daniel.” He ground out.
