Hello.  krisherdown here, pulling an old van out of storage.  The Men's Tennis RPS fandom was featured here back in 2006 - in fact, it was the recommendations on this site that led me to the fandom, where I've pretty much stayed ever since.  My taste is rather eclectic in terms of players so I'm giving a nice grab bag of fics for you and hope there's something to draw you in.  I link you to the old overview for now (to give you an idea of how old, the current #1 player in the world isn't even on it!) but there will be a new and improved overview in the next few days.  In the meantime, I will stay rather basic...

Why this must be read: I start you off with this crack fic, in which Roger Federer has an advice column in which his inner diva just can't stay silent.  It's a rather lighthearted series of letters in which you find out just how blind Roger can be when it comes to other players.  It's good as a starter fic because, while there is no real slash to this story, there are a lot of vaguely slashy references to common pairings.

Do they have any Agassi/Sampras slash? or maybe Agassi/Roddick?

One issue with the tennisslash fandom is that it's tough to locate fic written prior to 2005. Links do exist up to 2003 involving the old LJ (gamesetmatch) but you just hope it doesn't lead to a dead end. As a result, my recommendations will generally involve current or newly-retired players.

Even with that in mind, I don't recall ever seeing Sampras slashed and for some reason I've never seen Agassi/Roddick, even though both pairing do make sense. I recall one or two Agassi/Federer fics. There are a couple-- like liroa15's schoolverse universe that are just too awesome not to make the list, but I'm excited to see who else and what periods they were writing in. The mix of older and newer and the progression through the pairinings :D
