Why this must be read: When I think about what fic has made the most impact on my own writing and had me stay around this fandom, there's one rather clear answer. That this fic written in 2005, when Andy wasn't even known too well outside of Wimbledon, makes it all the more remarkable because everyone seems fleshed out exactly right. I love the style of the fic, conveying the imagery as the days spaced throughout Andy's life lead him eventually to Roger forcing him to face some truths about himself.
