Why this vid kicks ass:

This is my favourite Ray Kowalski vid. There are other excellent vids that have been recced here, but for me this vid gives me RayK in all his glorious uncertainty, all his desire to be what someone needs him to be. As the lyrics say: I need a reminder what I'm doing here, and as RayK himself says in COTW: "You ever feel like you don't know who you are? Like if you weren't around somebody, or that someone wasn't around you, then you wouldn't be you, or at least not the you that you think. You ever think like that?"

here's luck describes it thus: "this vid was all about trying to distill RayK -- the experimental hair and the kinetic energy and the fact that he NEEDS Fraser to be his mirror, because he wants to be the version of himself that Fraser reflects back to him."

It's also a technically awesome, beautifully constructed vid. Each cut so perfect, each shake of Ray's head, each of his radiant smiles all so perfectly timed. I love it more and more each time I watch it.
