Two Hands by shihadchick (Mature)
Fandom: DUE SOUTH
Pairing: Ray Kowalski/Louis Gardino
Length: 952 words
Author on LJ:
shihadchick
Author Website: Index on AO3
Why this must be read:
Kowalski/Gardino is one of those quirky due South pairings that grabbed the imaginations of a few people and resulted in some amazing, quirky, usually hot, occasionally heartbreaking fanfic. Shihadchick's excellent story sits neatly in the a common trope for this pairing: that of young men indulging in risky behaviour.
They pulled apart awkwardly after that, cleaning up as best they could, and Ray'd just opened his mouth to say something (because otherwise the next mayoral function was going to be damned uncomfortable if they ran into each other) when Gardino looked at him again and made a face as recognition dawned on him, too.
"Jesus. Kowalski? Never figured you for- uh."
Ray figured a smart-ass grin was probably his best weapon here, though it faded mighty fast as he shifted, looked at Gardino. "We'll... forget this ever happened, right?"
