Because this story is totally awesome. Once upon a time 2 years before the events of Thor, Darcy Lewis hooked up with Clint Barton for a one-night stand. Later, she threatens to taser a woman and Tony Stark hires her on the spot, whereupon she somehow becomes the administrator behind the Avengers Initiative. Meanwhile, there is UST, Captain America is totally hot, and Tony Stark builds Darcy pretty toys.
