This is a fantastic story, all the more so because it is goodboots's first fanfiction and this is really coming out of the gate swinging -- I'm expecting more fabulous things from this author in the future.

This story goes AU immediately after the events of The End of Time, with the Donna absorbing the Doctor's regeneration and getting her memories back and the Master being dragged onto the TARDIS rather than timelocked with the other Time Lords. Then the Master starts dying and Donna, Sally, and Martha try to figure out the mystery of why he's still hearing the drums (and crazy) and why he's dying. The answer... is surprising, and the story doesn't end there! EXCELLENT story, HIGHLY recommended.
