Why this must be read:
While I had a hard time finding any redeeming qualities in canon Stella, I’ve learned to love her in fic. This story (which, full disclosure, was written for me for the 2011 dSSS exchange) is a fascinating look at a young Stella, and how the experiences of her childhood shaped the woman she would become.
