Why this must be read:
bandombigbang Wave Three is in full swing, and this story's already one of my favorites from the group. It's always a treat to read well-written ships involving more than two people (no matter the dynamic, but having a primary couple with a guest, like this fic uses, is one of my favorites). It's extra fun when there's sex and kinky hijinks involved. But this story adds amazing, in-character pining to the mix, and that's what makes the whole thing special: it all works together perfectly.

Summary
Patrick’s got a lot of time on his hands right now. Touring is always like that, but somehow it hadn’t occurred to him how much worse it would be without Pete and Joe and Andy. If Patrick spends way too much of his downtime wondering what exactly Brendon and Spencer have been getting up to, it’s just idle curiosity, something to kill the time. It turns out that two of his closest friends are kinky motherfuckers and really, anybody would speculate about it under the circumstances.Excerpt
And that should be it. People fantasize about their friends sometimes--that’s a thing that happens. But when it keeps happening, that’s kind of creepy. The problem is, Patrick can't stop thinking about the rope burn, what the actual fuck, and the next time they have a hotel night, he finds himself checking out the headboard to see if it’s even possible to tie someone to it and wondering how Spencer and Brendon are working around the limitations of crappy hotel furniture.
It gets harder and harder for Patrick to make eye contact with either of them, because he looks at Brendon and just sees him needy and desperate and characteristically unable to stay still even when he's tied down, and when Patrick looks at Spencer, he's thinking about Spencer, careful and in control, meticulously getting the exact reaction he wants from--Brendon, only Brendon. Because Patrick certainly wouldn't be thinking of Spencer tying up anybody else and tormenting them. That would just be. Well.
