Silverbacks by WendieZ (Rated K)
Tooling along with the van this September:
Fandom: THE MAN FROM U.N.C.L.E.
Pairing: None
Length: approx 1300 words
Author on LJ:
wendiez
Author Website: http://www.fanfiction.net/u/1450704/WendieZ
Why this must be read:
Does anyone doubt that Waverly, astute fellow that he was, had subtle ways to check out certain things about his agents? Especially an agent he intended for a higher post down the road?
This story is an very interesting take on one such tactic by the "Old Man" of U.N.C.L.E.
As the author notes in her own summary "Think gorillas." But no need to groan, MFU-fans [wink]: that isn't meant in a literal sense.
