'Moving On' by dS-Tiff: Gen

Fandom: DUE SOUTH
Pairing: Fraser/Original Female Character, Ray Kowalski/Maggie McKenzie, Ray Vecchio/Stella
Length: 50,000 plus, novel length
Author Website:http://archiveofourown.org/users/dS_Tiff/pseuds/dS_Tiff
Why this must be read:
Tiff is one of the strongest casefic writers in the fandom. Every story she writes, whether angst, fluff, or comedy, has twists and turns which one could never anticipate. By the time you finish one of her well crafted stories you have a real sense of satisfaction, purely from a narrative angle. She also writes canon characters with true respect and understanding. In a story this long, you can really get lost in the world she is creating, and enjoy every moment of the plot unfolding.

More than that, however, her original female characters are incredibly realistic... gutsy, honest and tough. In this particular story, she writes a teenage girl who is so believable that I expected her to wander into my living room and flip me the bird. Her fics are all gen, which is not popular in this fandom, and she has het pairings for the canon characters. But her strong female characters make her arguably one of the most feminist writers in the fandom. You have to read Maggie McKenzie ticking off RayK for being jealous that Ben's friends with RayV! Any Mum will recognise the affectionate frustration of that conversation (your friend is allowed more than one friend!) And anyone who loves the characters will enjoy this story, whether they are fans of Vecchio or Kowalski, Maggie or Stella... and of course Fraser, paired with a female romantic partner who is his equal. You won't be disappointed. This is part of a series... also excellent, but reads well as a stand alone.

Hi, please review the posting guidelines and use our template to format your recs. If you could edit this post that would be appreciated as well. Thank you!

Just a heads up. I don't think you've fixed it and I doubt it conforms to the guidelines the mod requested. To be honest, it's kinda painful to look at! It appears that you've altered the colour of the text and perhaps screwed up some html.

This is the posting template with the html included, so you should just be able to copy and paste it and then fill in your fic-specific info.

Title by Author (Rating) <-- This goes in the subject line, and there is no need to include the same info in the body of the post.

I hope that helps.

Looks perfect to me! Woot!!! Also, it wasn't so long ago that I was completely clueless at anything more than the most basic of entries so I am super excited to have been able to help you out here! YAY! Progress is being made! Haha!

Good luck with the rest of your month!

Hi, sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Looks like you got it mostly sorted, but in order to link to your fic with HTML, you need to replace this bit of the posting template:

www.fanfic-url.com

with the actual link to the fic. Thanks!
