Why this must be read: My love of hurt/comfort is well-known, and especially for certain episodes, so this story is absolutely perfect, imo. Written by the great one, Verlaine, and pertaining to A Coffin For Starsky. The tag has been a bane of contention for some fans--does Hutch go to far pouring a cup of water over the recovering Starsky's head, or is Starsky doing better than he lets on? Starsky is still feeling pain here, but it's Hutch's pain and heartache that he wants to soothe.
