Why this must be read: Pete has a secret, leading him to choices that make him unhappy for a long time before he finally gathers enough courage to be happy. I'm all for stories with polyamory, but what made me love this story is the realistic depiction of Pete's self-sabotage - and that he still gets what he wants in the end. Very, very touching.
