Why this must be read:

Because it is delicious one-night-stand smut with post-series finale Kowalski and season 5 Wesley which makes Fraser jealous and provokes him to confront Ray about what they mean to each other. It particularly works for fans of both shows since she nicely handles how Ray and Wesley would each approach intimacy taking in to account how Wes is still broken and Ray is still earnest. Plus you get the inside jokes to both shows. But, never mind all that, did I mention smutty?

"Lawyers are EVIL," I informed the top of my desk.

A gravelly chuckle coated my ears with honey and slid right down my spine.

"Tell me about it," an unfamiliar voice with a British accent said, like it was some kind of private joke between the two of us.

My head snapped up and some guy I'd never seen before was standing there, obviously waiting for *me*. Nice clothes, deep plum-colored button down shirt and expensive-looking slacks. I might've taken him for a lawyer himself except for the rough-looking stubble on his jaw and the wholehearted agreement in his eyes.

Four words out of his mouth and he was already the most interesting person I'd met since I'd gone back to working under my real name.

I liked it a lot! I'm interested in Wesley, now, but I'm having trouble finding much in the way of slash with him in it...am I looking in the wrong places? I don't know this fandom very well, so I may just be a little confused about where to go. Any suggestions?

Yeah, I only started reading this fic because of due South...but I started getting into Wesley's character, and then I had to look him up on crack_van's intro to Angel, and there you go...that's how I got into due South, too - Kowalski sucked me in one fic at a time.

Ahh, I was a big fan of Due South and that is what pulled me into fanfiction of all kinds and I got pulled into Buffy/Angel by The Naked Spike Season so that was also via the tv show. Probably the only reverse for me was Krycek and X-Files. Fanon Krycek is so delicious you just have to go watch the show.

What kind of stories do you like, so I can send you some links? Light or dark, smutty or not, lurve or bitersweet, long or short?

Also, do you want crossovers? There aren't tons of crossovers with Wesley, although I did read an AtS/Alias xover Wesley/Vaughn PWP that was yummy...

I'd love some slash fic! I like light fic, but I love dark and, whether it's light or dark, the smuttier the better. I think short and medium size fics make more sense to me, right now. The longer the fic, the more I'm likely to butt up against characters I don't know and situations I don't understand, and I hate having to run back to

crack_van constantly to figure out what's going on. I'm sure as I read more I'll get more into the other characters, but until I have a better feel for the show, I would probably get bored with any long drawn out plots. I'm not opposed to either "lurve or bittersweet" *g*, as long as there's plenty of smut involved. (I'm not into really super sappy stuff though...) I enjoy a good humor fic, if you know any of those. Crossovers are a good question - it was a crossover that started this, so obviously, I will read them, but there are a lot of fandoms out there, and I know only a handful of them. If they're easy to understand with just the info I can get off
