Why this must be read:   because it’s an interesting and creative exploration of what Hutch was thinking as he sat by Starsky’s hospital bed following Gunther’s hit in “Sweet Revenge.”   I always thought that poor Hutch looked so lost in that scene, and Rivanna Michaels, with her poetic, first-person narration, does a lovely job of giving the reader an in-depth view into Hutch’s pain.
