Why this must be read: This is a story about how, at the age of six, Martin stopped wanting to be an aeroplane and started wanting to be a pilot. In Cabin Pressure, you get the sense that Martin never really had the happiest life, and the peek you see here of his childhood is quite sad and lonely. Luckily, an unexpected visit from the Doctor turns things around. This is a story to read on grey days; by the end, you just feel cheered up and cozy.
