QL's Virtual Season (found here) varies in quality, but tends to good, solid gen with a bit of background Sam/Donna and Al/Beth. I especially like this two-part "episode" which builds on the fact that Trudy Calavicci's death occured the year Sam was born, and was therefore fair game for putting right.

I've seen Sam Saves Trudy a couple of times, but this is my favourite, and it's a topic that perfectly suits episode-style gen. Yes. It's such a well put together story. I like how it all came together (even if the end was more or less lifted from Honeymoon Express.
