Why this really should be read:
Ah, the other type of hiatus fic. Between the O.C.'s 7th and 8th episode there were weeks and weeks and seeming weeks and many many wonderful stories filling the gap of what might have happened after Ryan carried Marissa's O.D'ed self out of that alley in Mexico. This one is hard and hot and angry, Seth attempting to comfort Ryan the night after. Rendered AU by the darned show, it's still a great slice of Ryan and Seth from the beginning, with the dark and the angst and the humor and the slash.


We begin: It's easy to track Ryan in Tijuana. He doesn't need insider info, a spy network, or even pure luck. He just enters the hotel room and sees Ryan slumped against a wall, a beer bottle in his hand.
