Why this must be read:

So, I picked a lot of my recs because not only are the stories themselves wonderful, but I'm in love with the actual writing of the piece, or the meaning behind them. And Indelible really is a beautifully written piece, and one of my all time favorite stories.

That being said - good GOD is it HOT.

It's Fraser. With a tattoo.

I feel like I should have so much more to say about this. Something witty and wise. Something smart and in depth. But quite honestly, my brain sort of fizzles out and turns into a big, nasty pile of mush when I read this, and I tend to just sort of mumble...Fraser...tattoo...nnrngh...

I'm really not sure what impulse led me to the tattoo shop. When I left the airport, I felt bereft. I felt numb. And I felt more alone than I had in two years. Something had been ripped away from me when his plane took off, and it left a bleeding wound behind. I was cold-- colder than I had been on any night we'd spent out on the ice. The only warm points on my body were the spot on my cheek Ray's lips had touched and the spot on my hip where his hand had rested. I needed a connection to Ray, a permanent reminder of that warmth. And I happened to walk past a tattoo shop.

Oh Fraser, are we ever so glad you did.

Wow, what a neat story! This is my first time with a dueSouth story ::please be gentle::, except for the Canadian shack. I've sorta been avoiding this fandom because I'm not at all familiar with the show, but I think I've just gotten over that (heh).

This is a beautiful story. I'm crazy about it. Her Fraser-voice is gorgeous, and the whole story is full of angst and sensuality. Yum!

Nice rec, missy. *G*
