Why this must be read: It's a sharp character insight into Braca, and for those of us who love him, that's a rare thing indeed. This story is breathtaking in its economy of words, and heartbreaking in its illustration of just how hungry for approval our favorite little weasel really is. Also, it's one of the few stories that really gets down in the trenches, so to speak, with the Peacekeepers and relates what it's really like during one of those battle campaigns.
