Why this must be read:

Emphasis should be on fics that you feel are especially outstanding and accessible examples of your fandom, e.g. it plays on a repeated theme in the show, it's a fandom or a personal favourite, it was a controversial fic, it's good smut. Whatever.

Warnings are not required beyond what the author has posted on their own stories.

Hokay. One of my early fandoms was Buffy/Spike and I'm feeling all nostalgic. I don't have recs in this fandom on my own rec comm yet, so I can't just raid them for a set. But I've just checked the van's memories and the stuff I'd rec isn't there yet, so I'm happy to revisit old haunts and come up with a set, as long as it's for a month when I'm not reccing anything else.

*happysigh* Buffy/Spike... their love is so violent and wrong.

Hi -- I just checked back here today, because I didn't get a comment back from you when I asked about May (for whatever reason, this one never made it to my inbox). I was wondering if I was up for June for the Buffy fandom at crack_van.

Oddly, I couldn't find this fandom's sign-up sheet in the list of the community's Volunteer Sign Up Sheets (http://www.livejournal.com/tools/memories.bml?user=crack_van&keyword=Volunteer+Sign-up+Sheets&filter=all). I did, however, have the page bookmarked elsewhere, so made my way back to ask you if I'm doing June (or, since there was missed communication, if I *should* now do June).

I'd be happy to drive this month; I have a bunch of recs prepared. I'll check back to this entry later on to see if you've replied.

Actually, after thinking about it some more, I don't know if I can commit to two fandoms in one month. I don't want to agree to it, and then let everyone down. I still *definitely* want to do Pirates for April, but, if it's not too late, I'd like to step down from Buffy. If entrenous88 (the poster below me) wants to take over for April, that'd be great.
