“Your legs are really smooth,” said Anna, and turned her face back to the television; Summer had the distinct feeling that wasn’t what Anna was going to say but she turned back to the television, too, and neither of them said anything until the movie was over.
Their legs were tangled together and hot against each other; Summer’s nose was cold, and the tips of her fingers, but her toes were tingling, and Anna was being careful not to look at her.
