Why this must be read:
I usually can't suspend my disbelief enough to read Charles Xavier/student stories, because I think his ethics would keep him from doing anything of the sort. Andraste makes it believable in this dark little story of two people trapped in a destructive relationship by their mutual loneliness and quiet despair. Don't look for happy endings here.
