Swallowing and running a hand through his hair, he sat down on one of the deck chairs and stared out at the water. It was dark now, and the moon was reflected over the surface, sending beams of light splashing across the cement and the walls of the poolhouse. He was tempted to make a joke about the last time Ryan had slept with his blinds open--but there was no one to make it for. Solitude was nice when you wanted to think, but when all you wanted to do was joke around and forget and eat Chinese food, it made you wish to God that you hadn't fucked everything up so badly.

This is a cute trio of stories. It starts with Seth, the man of indecision, and then goes to Ryan, too impulsive for his own good. The third story brings them together, balanced and good at last.

I like these because they play off a device and are like a refreshing drink after the heady melodrama of the show (and much of the fic too). It's easy to read and easy to buy, and anything that ends with wet boys kissing is good in my book.
