Why this must be read:
This is a lusciously long, plotty story. Very interesting, almost experimental stylistically, with multiple points of view. I love the melodrama (I mean that in a good way) of Clarkâs kidnapping and the frantic efforts to get him back. A lot of angst and intense emotion, and a very satisfying ending.
