Why this must be read:

This is a lusciously long, plotty story. Very interesting, almost experimental stylistically, with multiple points of view. I love the melodrama (I mean that in a good way) of Clark’s kidnapping and the frantic efforts to get him back. A lot of angst and intense emotion, and a very satisfying ending.

Does a 'very satisfying ending' translate to a happy ending? The warnings are making me a little nervous...(although they probably shouldn't, as I loved Ad Astra Per Aspera. *grin* I'm loving your recs, by the way; you're doing a fantastic job!)

lol. Happy ending insofar as Clark and Lex do end up together eventually. And thanks for the vote of confidence on the recs. It's such a subjective thing, and there as so many great stories, it's hard to choose just 12. :)
